You’ve probably already heard the buzz about just how insanely profitable printable shops on markets like Etsy and Shopify shops can be. 

Everywhere you turn, whether you find printables on the popular hubs or they’re being sold on Mommy blogs or crafty websites, printables always seem to somehow be part of a solid business model.

It makes sense, right?

They are helpful. They’re instantly available. They guide people towards accomplishing their goals, or making it easier for them to stay on track.

And chances are, you’ve used a printable at some point in your life.

Whether it was a printable spreadsheet, a workout tracker, a to-do list, or perhaps financial-based notes and pages that helped you gain some sense of order amongst the chaos of life.

Like I said, everyone uses them in one way or another.

But it wasn’t until I reverse engineered countless successful printable shops (and blogs) that I discovered exactly how much money people are actually making with simple printables.

My findings were shocking, to say the least. 

People like Sarah Titus have earned well over 7.5 million dollars selling digital printables on her Shopify website. 

And then there’s Michelle Rohr, who has earned well over $60,000 from her printable shop.

I also was lucky enough to peer behind the curtain of countless other $5-figure-earning- shops to discover that most of these people hadn’t even designed any of their top-selling products! (Don’t worry; I’ll show you how you can skip the design work as well—it’s drop-dead easy.)

So, naturally, all of these success stories—and so many others—was enough to catch my attention. 

I wanted in on the action.

So, I went to work creating a very basic printable business. I started with Etsy but then quickly expanded so that I was also directly selling from my blog, as well as on a Shopify store later that same year.  I then launched a reseller based printable shop where I design printables that people can purchase with commercial-use rights (so they can quickly power up their own printable stores). 

From month one, I was in the green.

After all, creating printables doesn’t cost you a dime. In fact, you likely already have a program on your computer that allows you to create these money-makers.  If not, no worries, I’ll show you a free way to do it.

But I wasn’t satisfied with just one shop. I wanted to maximize my income. I knew these printables could make even more money (back to the fact that millions of people use them!)

So, I started spending a couple hours a week on creating simple traffic-magnets. This was all done from a single platform, and zero paid ads (I’m cheap!).  

And very quickly, my sales skyrocketed.

But I’m no genius.  Truthfully, generating targeted traffic in the printable market is child’s play. The audience is there for the taking and they all congregate in only a couple of spots. 

It’s like fishing in a bathtub. 😉

And just like that; this “little printable business” turned into one of my top sources of income.

Is this a side hustle?  No way… THIS is a business that deserves your full attention.  It’s just too profitable to ignore.

Printables Will Always Sell. PERIOD.

The printable market quickly beat out nearly ALL of my other income sources, all within the first few months.  (I say nearly all because I’m a New York Times Bestseller and my books will always be my main bread & butter), but this was damn close.

In fact, it makes me want to break all my own rules about never putting all my eggs into one basket because every time I release a new printable product, people scramble to buy it.  

Printables are for everyone: the normies, the neurotic (like me!), the people who have to document every-single-thing, the over-achievers, the business people, the hustlers and the stay-at-home parent who needs order.

And all of those people will happily pay for printables that help them do all the things. 

Whether it’s weight loss planners, goal trackers or printables that focus on highlighting important milestones and accomplishments in life like weddings or baby showers, the demand for quality printables is never-ending.

And as long as humans exist, it always will be.
